This month, a portion of the proceeds from Bomb Coffee will go to programs that help veterans.
Detonate this new full-bodied coffee in your mug in the morning, and you’ll be fueled for the day. Bomb Coffee was founded by four friends, two of them veterans, and through the end of November, 22 percent of all sales will go to the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder and suicide prevention among veterans. The coffee, which they claim is high in caffeine, is grown in India and roasted in Rockford, Ill.
The original is balanced, and the bourbon-infused variety has more complexity with a hint of booze: Bomb Coffee, whole bean or ground, $17.99 a pound or $19.99 a pound for bourbon-infused, $15.99 for 12 Keurig pods, bombcoffee.com.
